SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of non-contact data communication with which documents are provided. And element (1), which is used in a document, is meant for non-contact data communication and has at least two separate microelectronic non-contact data communication devices, each having at least one microchip (2, 3) and at least one antenna (5), said at least microelectronic devices being located within the element (1) or on the element (1) such that in at least one position of the element (1), relative an external reader, there is possibility of simultaneously reading data more than from one of the microelectronic devices. The two microelectronic devices are spaced apart in pairs at a distance larger than the sum of the range of reading data by an external reader from the microelectronic devices and/or are separated by an electromagnetic shield.
EFFECT: high reliability when authenticating documents and protection from forgery.
