SUBSTANCE: invention discloses an information storage medium and a device for reducing audio/video data. The storage medium has an audio/video stream which includes a value for reinstalling a first system time clock (STC). The storage medium also has text subtitle data. The text subtitle data are output synchronously with a second STC, separate from the first STC, which continuously increases without reinstallation.

EFFECT: possibility of synchronous display of subtitles with an AV stream in conditions for switching to other positions of the stream, still frame, slow motion or fast play.
