SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering and specifically to waveguides of antenna arrays and can be used in frequency-scanning antenna systems. The linear frequency-scanning antenna includes rectangular serpent waveguide whose channel is folded in the E plane and each of its coils has linear sections and two 180-degree bends, communication elements and waveguide radiators which have a common narrow wall with the rectangular serpent waveguide, wherein the length of even and odd coils of the rectangular serpent waveguide are multiples of half the average wavelength in the waveguide and differ by an odd number of wavelengths in the waveguide.
EFFECT: possibility of scanning the antenna through a normal to the antenna with in-phase feeding of the radiators, eliminating the normal effect and extending the operating range of the antenna, respectively.
