SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for application in food industry during popcorn preparation. The popcorn preparation apparatus contains a body, a vessel for heating maize delivered into the vessel and fat so that to obtain popcorn and an inductive heating system. To provide for the vessel vacation, the vessel is installed so that to enable turning relative to the body. The inductive heating system contains an inductive winding positioned within the intermediate space between the vessel internal and external bottoms and intended for generation of HF variable magnetic field. The inductive winding is designed do that to enable tits turning together with the vessel. The external bottom is made of a ferromagnetic material.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of time required for a popcorn portion preparation, prevention of popcorn overheating inside or outside the vessel Electric energy consumption reduction.
