METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE TIGHTENING OF ACUTE NAZOFARINGETIC IN WOMEN WITH REACTIVATION OF CHRONIC MIXED-HERPESVIRUS INFECTION IN THE SECOND TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/00 G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2644831 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and otolaryngology. IgM and IgG antibodies to HSV-1 type, IgM and IgG antibodies to HSV-2 type and IgG antibodies to CMV are determined with an avidity index of antibodies IgG to HSV-1 of the type more than 65 % in blood serum in points (A). Average body temperature is measured during the first 3 days after the appearance of herpetic eruptions on the lips (t°) (B), the concentration of C-reactive protein (mg/ml) (C). Degree of hyperemia of the posterior pharyngeal wall is estimated in points (E). Then discriminant function (D) is determined using a discriminant equation including the determinants. And the boundary value is equal to +126.78. When D is equal to or greater than the borderline value, the absence of a lingering course of acute nasopharyngitis is predicted. When D is less than the borderline value, the progression of a lingering course of acute nasopharyngitis in women is expected during the reactivation of chronic mixed herpesvirus infection in the second trimester of pregnancy.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the progression of a lingering course of acute nasopharyngitis in women in a timely manner with the high probability of reactivation of chronic mixed herpesvirus infection in the second trimester of pregnancy by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
