SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cosmetic industry and represents a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion formed by oil globules each of which has a liquid-crystalline lamellar coating, dispersed in an aqueous phase, differing by the fact that it has pH 3-5 and contains at least one lipophilic surfactant with HLB equal to 2-5, at least one hydrophilic surfactant with HLB equal to 8-12, and at least one amphiphilic compound having an ionic form at pH 3-5.5.
EFFECT: invention provides preparing the stable emulsion at low pH.
