FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire fighting equipment, in particular, to devices for blocking fire and combustion products. The fire-prevention barrier comprises a straight-through housing and a composite locking element mounted inside the housing. The composite element comprises a locking element itself and a fire damper. The fire damper is mounted on the locking element and is made wholly or partly of a temperature-resistant material with shape memory effect. The damper has a shape and size which does not cover the opening of the straight-through housing at a temperature below the temperature of the beginning of shape-reconstruction and a shape that completely covers the opening of the housing at a temperature above the temperature of the end of shape-reconstruction.
EFFECT: invention provides reliability improvement of the design that blocks the spread of fire in ventilation systems.
