FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has heat-sensitive members made in the form of curved plates, which are manufactured from material possessing thermomechanical memory effect. Plates are arranged in focus of parabolic mirrors faced toward proposed ignition sources. Said plates are mechanically connected to electric switches and pumps, which close pneumatic system for supplying fire suppressing medium, for example liquefied carbonic acid. Apparatus is further equipped with rotating nozzles-branch pipes for supplying fire suppressing medium to ignition zone and is connected to electric switch of power supply network of fire-hazardous object and with electric circuit of fire warning system. In case of occurrence of fire, for example upon ignition of some fire-hazardous object, parabolic reflector directed toward this object focuses radiant energy on curved part of plate manufactured from material possessing thermomechanical memory effect. Upon heating of plate, it is unbent to release pump of pneumatic system, from which fire suppressing mixture is directed through rotating nozzles onto burning object. Apparatus allows ignition zone in room to be detected for short time, warning signal to be generated and delivered to related address and fire suppressing system to be automatically switched on.
