FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tube-rolling, particularly, to metal forming and serves to cut blanks at hot shears. Proposed method comprises cutting the blank by hot shears on moving shears knives vertically. Relationship between sizes of shears knife bottom and top teeth varies from 5 to 15. Knife with maximum tooth size is located in zone of blank rear end cutting. Knife with minimum tooth size is located in zone of blank front end cutting.
EFFECT: accurate shape, reduced number of defects.
