FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises concept of investment project "International sea canal "Evrasiya" between Black and Caspian Seas relates to using Kumo-Manych trough for routing canal via watershed between Axov-Black Sea basin and Caspian Sea basin. Eastern and Southern branches of "Evrasiay" canal is supplied with sweet water from Volgograd reservoir via artificial bed of Volgo-Don-2 canal. Waterworks facilities are projected and constructed at Egorlyk river mouth nearby southern bank of Proletarskiy reservoir. Said facilities comprise aseismic-stability water separation dam with navigation passes intended for distribution of sweet water flow between beds of Eastern and Southern branches of "Evrasiay" canal, and Eastern and Western dams to be arranged across Proletarskiy reservoir for forming deep running water with water mark identical with water surface in Volgograd reservoir. Eastern dam separating sweet water flow from highly mineralised water of Manych-Gudilo lake should be closed while Western dam should be provided with water floodgate to be made in its body to feed sweet water in Don river via Veselovskoe and Ust-Manych reservoirs.
EFFECT: increased area of irrigated lands, ruled out their salinisation and desertification.
