FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: transfer capacity (for instance, maximum transfer capacity) may be set on the basis of a maximum received level of a signal acceptable for a receiver and minimum losses due to transition attenuation from a receiving unit to a receiver. Transfer capacity may be set for an access unit (for instance, a femto unit) so that the appropriate downfall developed in a cell (for instance, in a macrocell) is limited and continued to provide for acceptable level of coverage for terminals of access joined with an access unit. The access unit may autonomously control its capacity of transfer on the basis of measurement of a channel and the specified hole in the zone of coverage to reduce effect of noise. Transfer capacity may be set on the basis of channel quality. Transfer capacity may be set on the basis of noise-signal ratio at the access terminal. Transfer capacity of adjacent access units may be controlled by means of alarm between access units.
EFFECT: improved control of noise in wireless networks.
