FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and are intended for increasing biological compatibility of implant with bone. Implant body is made from zirconium. The superficial layer of zirconium hydroxide, which has lower hardness than base, is made by irradiation of implant body in air, containing water vapour. Short-wave laser irradiation of high power, whose main harmonic is created by Nd:YAG laser or YVO4 laser, ensuring formation of cracks on the superficial layer.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to ensure reduction of difference in degree of hardness between bone and implant due to formation of the superficial layer, which has lower hardness than base.
