FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loose material classification and may be used in metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, etc. Drum classifier comprises base to support perforated drive drum, loading and unloading devices. Drive drum houses helical guide while auxiliary drum is arranged on drive drum outer surface. Equal-size square holes are made on surface of said both drums. Auxiliary drum is mounted to turn relative to drive drum surface along helical guides with elevation angle of 45 degrees. Inclined trough is arranged under drums to collect sieved material connected with unloading device while vessel is arranged under said drums to collect material not sieved.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency.
