FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing protection of aquatic medium and can be used in enrichment of air of natural and artificial reservoirs, in particular stagnant zones in the process of purification of household and industrial sewage in biological ponds, with oxygen. Method of aeration includes intake of water from bottom layers of reservoir, formation of high-speed water flow in reservoir under the impact of hydrostatic pressure. Air from atmosphere is ejected by high-speed water flow and is mixed with it. Water-air mixture is lifted above water level in reservoir due to vacuuming upper outlet of lifting pipe and support in lower inlet into lifting pipe with high-speed atmospheric air flow. Lifted water-air mixture is directed along discharge pipe under the level of free water surface in reservoir. Device contains anchored in reservoir pontoon, provided with water-lifting, air and discharge pipes, ring catch-water and rolls in jig. Water-lifting pipe is provided with nozzle on lower end, perforation above nozzle and confuser with guiding pipe on upper butt end. Air pipe connects perforation with atmosphere, confusor being installed on its upper butt end.
EFFECT: method and device make it possible to carry out aeration of bottom layers of reservoir due to environment energy.
