FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of domestic and industrial effluents in biological ponds. Proposed method comprises forcing atmospheric air into water by ram air. Water is jet mixed with atmospheric air in tube 4 mounted in the pond. Produced air-water mix is forced by wind jet pump 5 at daylight. Pond aerator comprises confusers 2 arranged coroniform at float 1. Said confusers 4 direct airflow via tube 3 into mixing tube 4 located in the pond. Mixing tube 4 is directed upward to receive water inflow in direction aligned with airflow.

EFFECT: water aeration by ram air.
