FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing [1,3]selenazolo[3,2-α]pyrimidinium chlorides of general formula , where R1 is an alkyl or phenyl, R2 is an alkyl, phenyl or hydrogen, R1+R2 is cycloalkyl. The method involves reaction of the corresponding olefin with 4,6-dimethyl-2-pyrimidine selenenyl chloride in equimolar ratio in a methylene chloride medium.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain novel derivatives of [1,3]selenazolo[3,2-α]pyrimidine which can be used in fine organic synthesis, in production of medicines and biologically active substances.
