FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: primer composition contains a chlorinated copolymer which is a product of emulsion polymerisation of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride, a modifier - glycidyl ether, mineral filler, a curing agent - mixture of hexamethylene diamine and a tertiary amine, pigments and an organic solvent. The modifier is triglycidyl ether of polyoxypropylene triol or trimethylol propane or diglycidyl ether of polyoxypropylene glycol. The pigments in the composition are a mixture of titanium dioxide and zinc oxides, or with technical carbon, or with red iron oxide pigment, or with chromium oxide. The mineral filler is talc or microtalc in a mixture with microsand. The organic solvent used can be acetone, butyl acetate, xylene or mixture thereof in ratio of 3:3:4.
EFFECT: producing a cold curing primer composition with low content of volatile substances, having low water-absorption while maintaining adhesion and physical and mechanical properties, use of the primer composition reduces power consumption and improves environmental safety during production and use thereof.
