SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for producing an electrotechnical steel sheet with an oriented grain structure and to an electrotechnical steel sheet with an oriented grain structure. The method includes the following stages: heating a slab with a predetermined component composition with a residue of Fe and impurities, and hot rolling; etching the hot-rolled steel sheet, or annealing the hot-rolled sheet and etching the hot-rolled annealed sheet; cold rolling the etched sheet; annealing for primary recrystallisation; applying a separating annealing agent including MgO; performing final annealing; applying an insulating coating to the resulting annealed sheet; and performing levelling annealing.

EFFECT: provided is an electrotechnical steel sheet with an oriented grain structure exhibiting reduced steel losses.
