FIELD: removal of snow and ice; urban economy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stationary devices for collection and melting of snow and ice removed from urban areas. Snow melting plant includes underground reservoir containing snow-receiving chamber with loading opening covered with grate, pipeline for melt water discharge, pipeline of sewage water supply into snow-receiving chamber. Reservoir is divided into a number of interconnected compartments by overflow openings. Note here that holes are closed by grids to hold large floating contaminants while tank bottom comprises heating cables.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of operation of the snow melting plant.
