FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method of reinforcement consists in changing of vault geometry by means of its lifting to rated working position by means of a sliding curb. At the borders of flattened sections, through transverse cuts are arranged, where segments are installed of a split beam of the sliding curb. Segments are hingedly connected in the lower part as capable of rotation in the vertical plane relative to each other. In the upper part segments are connected between each other by flexible cables. Under each slot in the area of the vault bearings there are supports installed, which have sliding support sites. The split beam is rested onto support sites. After installation of two and more beams decking is arranged between them. Ends of the split beam are connected to each other by means of a cable, in the middle of which there is a traction jack installed. By means of the jack, span length is reduced, and the vault is raised.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of process works for reinforcement.
