FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: muzzle brake comprises chamber with gas escape holes made on side surface and means to attach it to gun barrel. Besides, it comprises, at least, one extra section to be secured at chamber face and provided with gas escape holes on side surface. Chamber surface and that of every extra section are provided with adjusting locking rings arranged to overlap, at least, partially said gas escape holes.
EFFECT: decreased recoil, dampened sound.
