FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of products for air regeneration on the basis of metal superoxide used in life support systems working on fixed oxygen. Proposed method comprises interaction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and potassium hydroxide (KOH). Produced alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide is applied on porous fibrous matrix. Liquid phase on said matrix is dehydrated in vacuum or at barometric pressure. Interaction of initial components is conducted so that temperature in synthesis zone does not exceed 20 degrees. Dehydration in vacuum is performed in two steps: at -10°C to +20°C for 10-20 min and, then, at 20-160°C for 0.5-2.0 h. Dehydration at barometric pressure in vacuum is carried out in flow of dried and decarbonised air or inert gas in two steps as well: blowing by air or inert gas at room temperature for 10-30 min, and, then, at 140-220°C for 0.5-1.0 h.
