FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of obtaining products air regeneration used in air regeneration collective systems and separate respiratory apparatus working on fixed oxygen. The method of obtaining a product for air regeneration involves reaction of a solution of hydrogen peroxide with potassium hydroxide and then dehydration of the obtained alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide by spraying it in a stream of a drying agent. Before adding potassium hydroxide, the required amount of magnesium sulphate and sodium hydroxide is successively added to the initial hydrogen peroxide solution. Molar ratio of the initial components must be as follows: H2O2/MgSO4=492-650; H2O2/NaOH=8.0-58.0; H2O2/KOH=1.60-1.88.
EFFECT: successive addition of magnesium sulphate and sodium hydroxide into the hydrogen peroxide solution before adding potassium hydroxide ensures virtually constant chemical composition of the initial alkaline solution for up to 20 hours and enables use of highly concentrated solutions of hydrogen peroxide and solid potassium hydroxide as initial components for synthesis.
