FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of obtaining products air regeneration used in air regeneration collective systems and separate respiratory apparatus working on bound oxygen. The method of obtaining a product for air regeneration involves reaction of hydrogen peroxide solution with potassium hydroxide followed by deposition of the obtained alkaline hydrogen peroxide solution onto a neutral porous fibrous matrix and dehydration of the liquid phase on the matrix. Before adding potassium hydroxide, the required amount of magnesium sulphate and sodium hydroxide is added successively to the initial hydrogen peroxide solution. Successive addition of magnesium sulphate and sodium hydroxide into the hydrogen peroxide solution before adding potassium hydroxide ensures virtually constant chemical composition of the initial alkaline solution for up to 20 hours and enables use of highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide solutions and solid potassium hydroxide as the starting components for synthesis.
EFFECT: invention reduces consumption of starting material (H2O2) and energy per unit end product.
