SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental safety. Disclosed is a sorbent which contains: a fraction of C10-C14 alkane hydrocarbons in amount of 3-5 wt %, flue ash in amount of 40-45 wt %, and ground unslaked lime - the balance.
EFFECT: obtaining a cheap and readily available sorbent which provides efficient decontamination of oily wastes.
