FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: device for mechanical treatment of fiber-containing materials comprises a conical body, a rotor, an unbalance roll, and on the working surfaces of the rotor and the stator the spiral corrugations are made with identical directions of tilt. The lower part of the rotor is provided with a conical skirt with evenly distributed on it side slots, which are tilt with respect to the generator, that are open from the side of lower trailing edge, and the single slot is characterised by the following parameters: the width s=1.5…2.5 mm, length l=(10…15) s mm, the angle of slope to the center line of the slot towards the generator δ=(7…12)°.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the performance of the device by increasing the cross-sectional area of the output gap.
