FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: electrooptical device has an illuminator, a microlens with focal distance of 4.2 mm and a lens with focal distance of 12.8 mm for focusing the image of a conoscopic picture onto a photodetector, a beam splitting cube, a personal computer and polarisers. The illuminator used is a white light-emitting diode and a single-lens collector. The photodetector used is a television camera for obtaining the image of the conoscopic picture on the screen of a monitor or television. The beam splitting cube is used to input light flux from the illuminator and create the required level of illumination on the socket. The personal computer with installed software is meant to digitise the image, record a video sequence and separate images and forming inspection reports. Polarisers are placed between the illuminator and the beam splitting cube and the lens and the television camera for forming a conoscopic picture.
EFFECT: controlling the position of the optical axis of corundum ball sockets with possibility of recording a video sequence and separate images for forming an inspection report.
