SUBSTANCE: device for diagnosing digital information transmission channels comprises n measured receivers, a first switching unit, n sets of terminal equipment, a second switching unit, a unit for measuring efficiency, an operating capacity indicator, an analyser, an AND element, a unit for measuring margin of the receiver, a unit for controlling the terminal equipment, a control device, a device for probabilistic forecasting, a unit for calculating operational availability and a digital signal processing system.
EFFECT: high reliability of diagnosing digital information transmission channels owing to probabilistic forecasting of faults in the measured receivers and sets of terminal equipment over a given time interval and calculation of their operational availability.
