SUBSTANCE: communication system elements, communication system operating time, operating frequency adjustment time, duration of the transmitted signal, terminal equipment unsynchronisation time, the required time for breaking connection lines, and minimum and maximum values of electric field strength are set; the values of the strength of the electromagnetic field are measured, based on the results for predicting the electromagnetic environment and the possibility of occurrence of failures or constantly, without switching off users, in advance or constantly, over a given time interval, connection lines between the terminal devices or all devices are broken and said devices are earthed; at the end of said time interval, the connection lines are restored between the terminal devices or all devices and the earthing is removed.
EFFECT: high stability and protection of communication system elements from external destructive actions.
