FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of generating a scenario for validation of functional software installed on-board aircraft involves: a) interactive identification (20) of the developer of correct test situations by positioning the insertion point and the stopping point respectively at the beginning and at the end of the function of the functional software during testing thereof; b) monitoring and recording (22) conditions of variables of said function by the position of the stopping point and the insertion point; c) automatic generation (26) of a test scenario by analysis, at the first step, of the states of variables monitored during identification of test situations, and by generating, at the second step, a test scenario in form of a source code (13); d) automatic execution (30) of the generated test scenario in a test execution environment.
EFFECT: providing flexibility when developing test programs, high reliability of test programs.
