FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of isolating carbon dioxide (CO2) from smoke gases. Method includes stage of passing CO2-containing outflowing gas through catalyst, on whose active centres NH3 is bound. After that, at first temperature of process (T1), CO2, as a result of chemical reaction with NH3, is transferred into stable state, also bound on catalyst surface. Then, flow of blowdown gas, consisting of CO2 and water vapour, is directed at CO2-filled catalyst; at second temperature of process, which is higher than first temperature of process (T2>T1). CO2 and NH3 composition is decomposed, CO2 passes into flow of blowdown gas, and NH3 remains precipitated on catalyst surface. After that, CO2-enriched flow of blowing gas is transferred into another reactor and cooled there till the temperature which is lower than first temperature of process (T3<T1).Clean dry CO2 is pumped out through water surface and directed for further application. As adsorbent TiO2 or mixture of TiO2 and alloy V2O5 is used. In respective device for method realisation there are at least twp reactors, which can alternately switch to work in mode of CO2-absorption, on the one side and in mode of absorbent regeneration, on the other side.

EFFECT: obtaining carbon dioxide in pure form for further application or utilisation.
