FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of high-temperature carbon dioxide sorbents. According to the method, the active phase in the form of zirconate or lithium silicate is formed on the surface of a carrier metal carbide. Pre-acid etched carrier is placed in aqueous solutions of Li and Zr nitrates or citrate complex of Li and Si hydrosol (oxides precursors). Solution is evaporated to dryness with vigorous stirring of the reaction mass. Next, calcining at 650 °C for 6 hours is executed. Sorbent characterized by high dynamic adsorption capacity by CO2 (18.1–23.5 % by weight) can be completely regenerated in an inert gas flow at a temperature of up to 700 °C.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining a sorbent, which at a temperature of 550 °C is characterized by a high dynamic adsorption capacity for CO2 and increased adsorption rate.
