FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil processing, particularly, to method of making highly refined bulky catalyst of heavy oil fractions hydraulic processing. Catalyst comprises compounds of one metal of VIII group and one metal of VIB group. Proposed method comprises mixing and interaction of metal salts as catalyst precursor of laminar hydro calcite similar compound (NH4)HNi2(OH)2(MoO4)2 with subsequent drying, calcining and sulfidising. Ni and Mo salts are used as initial compounds that differ in basicity and solubility at Ni/Mo atomic ratio equal to 0.3-3.3. Mixing and chemical interaction between metal salts are conducted in solid phase at mechanochemical activation and power intensity of at least 12 W/g for 15-60 minutes. Thermal treatment is conducted in air at 105-600°C.
EFFECT: nonpolluting process, high catalytic activity.
