FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a suspension for decorating ceramics. The suspension for decorating ceramics contains binder and refractory filler. The binder used is a mixture of liquid potassium silicate and alum, and the refractory filler is powdered glass and metal oxides - aluminium, chromium, titanium and zirconium oxides, separately or in a mixture. Components of the suspension are in the following quantitative content, wt %: binder - 15-45, metal oxides - 3-28, powdered glass - the balance.
EFFECT: high adhesion of the suspension to the ceramic surface while maintaining colour after firing.
