FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for detection of steroid resistance in the patients with true acantholytic pemphigus based on the analysis of the changes of secondary messengers wherein peripheral lymphocytes are sampled from the patient suffering true acantholytic pemphigus, processed in concanavalin A, analysed for the level of lymphocyte inositol trisphosphate by ion-exchange chromatography on organic resin before prescribing the therapy with systemic glucocorticoids and after prescribing the therapy with systemic glucocorticoids; if observing the intracellular level of lymphocyte inositol trisphosphate in the presence of systemic glucocorticoids by 10-15%, a form of the patient's disease is considered to be steroid-sensitive, while no changes of the level show a steroid-resistant form of the disease.

EFFECT: method enables detecting the patients with true acantholytic pemphigus resistant to the therapy with systemic glucocorticoids for ensuring faster remission of the disease and selection of the adequate therapy, reducing therapeutic doses of systemic glucocorticoids to the maintaining ones with no recurrences of the disease.
