FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: variable band-pass filter has a first mixer for converting frequency of the input signal to a given first frequency value, a first filter configured to determine one edge of the variable band-pass, a second mixer for converting frequency of the filtered first converted signal, a second filter for filtering the second converted signal, which is configured to determine the second edge of the variable band-pass, an additional mixer for converting frequency of the filtered second converted signal, a heterodyne means for providing a first heterodyne frequency in the first mixer and a second heterodyne frequency in the second mixer, and frequency in the additional mixer.
EFFECT: providing flexibility when routing channels between ascending and descending beams in communication satellites while eliminating or reducing phase noise.
