SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly neurosurgery. Intracranial pressure (ICP) and ICP wave amplitude at pulse frequency are measured before and after stepped change of the volume of the intracranial space contents by the known value. Thereafter, what is calculated is the change value of the volume of the intracranial space contents at pulse frequency. For each moment of time, average ICP and ICP wave amplitude are measured. The quantitation of cerebral compliance is calculated by the change volume of the intracranial space contents at pulse frequency and the ICP wave amplitude at pulse frequency at the moment of the CC assessment.

EFFECT: method allows reducing diagnostic injuries and providing reliability of the CC assessment.
