FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. A catheter is provided with an internal feed mechanism which can pull a stiffening wire or the other tools. The catheter has a body, a tip assembly distal in relation to the body, a tool extending through at least the body of the catheter, and a control handle proximal in relation to the body of the catheter. The control handle has a feed mechanism with a threaded member, an adjustment member and a controlled member whereto the tool is attached. The feed mechanism moves the tool back and front along the body of the catheter under user's control. The threaded member and the adjustment member are cylindrically configured in whole. The adjustment member guides the controlled member to move it inside a spiral guide passage to move the tool back and front.
EFFECT: catheter provides motion of the stiffening wire and the other tools.
