FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: bearing includes several self-adjusting segments located inside housing (1) uniformly in circumferential direction of shaft (2) and enclosing the shaft trunnion with a radial gap, as well as the corresponding number of supporting mechanisms for segments. Load-carrying (3) and antifriction (4) elements in the form of plates are elastically conjugated in each segment. Supporting mechanism for each segment includes ball pin (10) enclosing its spring-loaded shell (9) forming a detachable connection with element (3) and support stud (11) with through axial hole (15), which is screwed into housing (1). Spherical cavities (13) in element (3) and bottom of shell (9) form together with pin (10) a spherical hinge pressed with shell (9). Pin (10) is adjacent to stud (11) by means of screw (12) screwed outside the bearing through the hole of stud (11) into pin (10).
EFFECT: providing the use of silicified graphite under conditions of cooling and lubrication of the bearing with water; excluding damages to elements from silicified graphite owing to bending stresses, as well as thermal deformations; reduction of power loads in the bearing to safe level.
