METHOD OF MONITORING BASES OF ELECTRIC DRIVES OF PUMPING ASSEMBLIES Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01M7/00

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring vibratory displacement of a base during operation. At least two vibration sensors are placed near the mounting points of the electric drives and pumping assemblies, on the perimetre of the surface of each base at a distance from its edges of at least 1/4 of the width of each base. After launching the vibration sensors to detect with the same frequency, the frequency of the first harmonic of natural vibrations of each base is simultaneously determined. Amplitude values of horizontal vibrations of the bases are measured at that frequency. Said values are compared with allowable amplitude values of horizontal vibrations of the bases. If the measured value exceeds the allowable value, a bit for emergency shutdown of the electric drives of the pumping assemblies is generated, otherwise the value of the remaining operating life of each base is determined.

EFFECT: continuous monitoring of the state of bases and rapid detection of defects.
