FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electrochemical generator on solid oxide fuel cells comprises a body, a chamber of methane and air mixing, a chamber of partial methane oxidation, a chamber of electrochemical oxidation of fuel with a battery of fuel cells and a chamber of fuel afterburning. The generator comprises the second chamber of methane and air mixing arranged under the first chamber of methane and air mixing. The chamber of partial methane oxidation comprises a combination of tubes fixed on a tube sheet, with a catalyst of partial methane oxidation applied onto their external surfaces. Fuel cells in the form of tubes with open ends are coaxially connected with tubes of the partial oxidation chamber. The afterburning chamber comprises a combination of perforated plates with an afterburning catalyst applied on them. On the inner surface of tubes of the partial oxidation chamber there is a fuel oxidation catalyst applied in air excess.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify design and to increase device reliability.
