FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for direct conversion fuel chemical energy into electrical energy using solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and can be used for independent power supply of different domestic and process low-power devices. Proposed is an electrochemical generator on solid oxide fuel cells having a housing, a located inside it chamber for mixing the fuel and the oxidizer, a fuel oxidation chamber accommodating at least one fuel cell, an oxidation products afterburning chamber, an oxidizer heating and distribution chamber, herewith the outlet of the chamber for mixing the fuel and the oxidizer is connected to the fuel oxidation chamber, and the fuel oxidation chamber outlet is connected to the inlet into the oxidation products afterburning chamber. Distinctive feature of the proposed electrochemical generator is that the fuel oxidation chamber includes two zones: the zone of partial oxidation of the fuel and the zone of electrochemical oxidation of the fuel, for which the fuel oxidation chamber is separated from the chamber for mixing the fuel and the oxidizer with a wall permeable for the fuel and oxidizer mixture made from a refractory material.
EFFECT: higher fuel efficiency, increased reliability, simplified design, as well as faster bringing the SOFC to the operating mode, all are the technical result of the invention.
