FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: planting unit comprises a sowing conveyor with cells located at the side wall of the seed box. The sowing conveyor is made in the form of a cylindrical hollow drum. On the outer wall of the drum the cells are made in the shape of seeds in the form of grooves with depth equal to the average thickness of the seed of the sown crop, with the width equal to the maximum width of the seed, and the length greater than the maximum length of the seed of the sown crop. And between the cells the active guides are located in the form of triangular protrusions with height equal to the minimum thickness of the seed of the sown crop. The length of the active guides in neighboring cells is different and limited by axial line of the cells. On the inner surface of the drum the grooves are made on the axes of the cells for passing of the spring-loaded roller pushers which depth corresponds to the possibility of pushing the seeds from the cells. Near the side wall of the seed box the drill tube is located adjacently with the cylindrical drum. On an L-shaped lever the spring-loaded roller pushers are mounted adjacently with the entrance window of the drill tube. The bottom of the seed box is adjacent with the hollow drum on the tops of active guides. The length of the zone A of active contact of cells with the seeds is increased by a parabolic coupling of the seed box wall with the outer surface of the hollow drum.

EFFECT: invention enables to increase accuracy of seed sowing without their damaging with the formation of a compact seat.
