SUBSTANCE: seeding unit comprises a seed-box with sowing conveyor with cells and active guides mounted in the side wall of the seed-box at an angle to the horizon. The cells on the conveyor are made in the form of notches corresponding to the size and shape of the seed. The length of the cell is l_c=1.21_av+(1.0…1.6) mm, the width of the cell is b_c=b_av+(1.2…1.6) mm, the depth of the cell is δ_c=δ_av+(0.1…0.3) mm, where l_av, b_av, δ_av is respectively, average length, width, thickness of the seed of the sown crop. In front of the cells on the outer surface of the sowing conveyor the active guides with a different length are provided. The lower part of the sowing conveyor is coupled with the bottom of the seed-box along the circle, providing the ability of free passage of the active guides having height h=0.8 δ_av. The rear wall of the seed-box is coupled with the bottom of the sowing conveyor along the parabolic curve. At the bottom of the cells of the sowing conveyor the spillway openings are provided. In the tray, on which the upper branch of the sowing conveyor rests, the drainage grooves are made. The seed tube has a ribbed inner surface. And the distance t between the projections of the ribs is less than the width and length of the seed of the sown crop.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the reliability of sowing seeds without their damage, and to obtain a compact bunch.
