SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. A measuring unit able to measure high-accuracy position and size of an absorbent, involves: a light source unit for pulse beam emission; an optical light assembly for direction of the pulse beam emitted by the light source unit to an internal portion of an examination object; an acoustic signal record unit for recording a photoacoustic signal generated by the pulse beam wherein the optical light assembly involves first and second optical light assemblies arranged so that the examination object is exposed to the pulse beam from both opposite sides; and an acoustic signal recording unit is provided so that the recording unit of the acoustic signal recording unit is located on the same side that one of the surfaces of examination object emission which first and second optical light assemblies are exposed to the pulse beam.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables more accurate measurement of the position and size of the absorbent.
