SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for data collection with the help of acoustic waves, in particular, to photo acoustic tomography. Claimed device comprises multiple recording elements for reception of acoustic waves from object measurement area by appropriate reception surfaces. Note here that reception surfaces of at least some of recording elements oriented at different angles fixed relative to each other. Scanning unit is used to displace, at least, one of the objects and detector. Control unit is used for control over scanning unit so that recording elements receive acoustic waves from measurement area. Relative position of the object and area with the highest resolution of measurement are varies. Note here that area with the highest resolution of measurement is defined depending on the location on recording elements.
EFFECT: higher uniformity of resolution.
