FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals, namely, to separation of dry diamond-containing materials, for example, primary drawing concentrates. Electrometric separator comprises loading hopper, two shaking feeders, transducer for contactless measurement of electric charge with sensitive electrode, transducer preamplifier, data processing unit, actuator, actuator control unit, concentrate receiver and rejects receiver. Transducer sensitive electrode is composed of paired electrically isolated plates. Every pair of said plates are equipped with individual preamplifier and individual data processing unit. Note that actuator is made up of a set of air valves arranged in one line. Note also that the number of said air valves equals that of pairs of sensitive electrode plates.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
