FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals, namely, to separation of dry diamond-containing materials, for example, primary drawing concentrates. Proposed method comprises transfer of sorted material with vibration charging by friction of material against vibrating chute. Free falling flow is formed. Tribocharge is measured by contactless method be means of transducer connected to fast-acting electrometric amplifier. Transducer signal is amplified and processed. Time delay duration is generated. Transducer signal is processed simultaneously and in parallel by two independent channels. Note here that, in first channel, amplified transducer signal is integrated and compared with first separation threshold. Results of comparison is converted into digital form and stored for complete result processing interval. In second channel, transducer second pulse life is pre-selected, then time interval corresponding to second pulse peak is selected to generate second channel output signal. Stored signal availability at first channel output is checked up. If available, time delay duration generation is initiated.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring charge, reduced probability of ingress of associated minerals into concentrate.
