FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals, namely, to separation of dry diamond-containing materials, for example, primary drawing concentrates. Proposed method comprises transfer of stock in measurement zone, triboelectric charging by friction against surface of earthed metal vibration hammer, contactless triboelectric charge sign and magnitude measurement by transducer, transducer signal amplification and comparison with separation threshold, time delay and control over actuators, and deflecting diamond into concentrate receiver by actuator. Negative polarity electric field is induced above vibration hammer surface in triboelectric charging and light of spectrum visible region is irradiated.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity and selectivity.
