FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for making protective reinforced thrust-cut strips of any design and application. Said strip comprises central section and multiple opposed pairs of elements made integral therewith. Said pairs are arranged regularly along said central section. Every element of a pair consists of substrate and opposed teeth made on element sides. Points of teeth represent angles formed by outer side and element sides. Wide inner space is formed between sides of elements arranged in line and confined by points of teeth of said elements. Strip is made completely from plastic or any other composite material, for example, glass fabric impregnated with epoxy resin. Strip central section is bulged to make reinforcing element. To increase resilience, steel wire of whatever cross-section is extruded inside central bulged section.
EFFECT: resistance against corrosion, longer life, wasteless production.
